Description

Vintage box of Swingline staples.
Contains maybe a quarter to a third of the 5,000 staples supposed to be in the box.
Cannot guarantee that the staples are 100% the ones that came in the box.
On the box:
"Inspected WIRE STAPLES S.F. 35 / PRECISION MADE for all maes of STANDARD SIZE STAPLING MACHINES / Manufactured by SWINGLINE INC. / Long Island City 1  New York, N.Y."   and images of Swingline staplers No. 4, No. 27, and No.3P.
Cardboard with metal reinforcements on the corners. Inside box has a flap at one end (easier to get the staples out, I assume)
Unsure of date but it's apparently pre-Zip code, so previous to 1963; and they introduced the No. 27 in the early to mid-fifties. So these staples are probably between 57 and 67 years old.
