935-10 High Energy Variable Laser Attenuator
For sale- a Newport 935-10 High Energy Variable Laser Attenuator.
The agency surplus code would indicate that it should be functional, but I have no way to test that theory.
This would be considered a passive device (wouldn’t it?), so how much is there to break on the thing?
I see one of these listed currently on ebay and thoughtful enough to provide a

Where it sells for 00ish new.
I am offering a used one here, so I think anything more than about half the cost of the new one is a bit much.
Overall the unit is in very good physical condition.  There are a couple of minor cosmetic scratches on top, beyond that about the only thing I see worth noting are some dots on the input end where I guess the laser wasn't lined up correctly.
Someone has written above the smaller dial on the right DO NOT EXCEED 13.  I don't know whether that was specific to this piece or the the experiment it was being used in.  And I have acquired a second one of these, not pictured but substantially identical.
Includes the mount attached as pictured.  Untested, and no warranty is offered.   However,
IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
